That would be cool to get something right on the lake! It would be good to learn some bass fishing from you Jeff before Eric's event a couple weeks later.

Campsites 58, 59, & 60 in the Kelsey Cove camp are "lakeside premium campsites". They cost a little more but are right on the lake. Some of the other sites are very close and you could still launch from them with a short carry or cart. I have launched into the creek from around site 32 or so. This is dependent on how high the water level is to the top of the bank. Also you may have to paddle thru alot of vegetation to get down the creek. Some of the ones that back up to the lake would be better. I would not recommnend the Cole Creek camp because it always seems like the mosquitos are thicker there. jim

Thanks for the info, I guess I will see what is available there at the time, but I was eying the ones on the point. It would be nice to pull the yaks right up by camp.

The lake is almost full as of today, it lacks just a couple of feet.  If I can get over that way this weekend I will post pictures of the campsites for you.  If you can paddle down to the old Konicti resort you might get some crappies :smt002
The more the merrier.

I and my dog need a fishing trip rery soon.

Who is 100% going, and does anyone need me to reserve a campsite? But you are all welcome to my site.

Jeff

I haven't reserved yet, but need to do so for two events anyway so I guess I should get on it.  Def. Going, not sure when I'm leaving yet though...  What site are you at again?

Last time I checked it was walk up only, no online reservations at State Park. So not sure yet. Im going to try to get there very early. Gotta track down some live minnows and get settled in!

Unless I'm wrong, which is entirely possible, I thought people were making reservations through reserve america.

Hey Jeff, Let me know if you need help with the minnows? There are plenty of places here in Sac. I can get some. I will also plan on leaving up early Friday.
