Hello,

I would like to introduce myself to all you fine people on this forum. My name is Mike, I registered here a few weeks ago and this is my first post. I have been a very casual kayaker for about 10 years. My first kayak is one of those Costco Mainstream hulls I bought back then and would occasionally play around with it in the Russian River, Sausalito and once at HMB. It is a good boat to just paddle, but very few creature comforts when it came to fishing so for the last several years, it had only been used by the nephews and their friends. Because of the small amount of actual on the water time and experience, I still consider myself a major beginer at this sport. I finally purchased a Mini-X this last fall and have played around a bit with it in Richardson Bay. It is a good hull design and fits my needs well. I am looking forward to this summer as I plan on using it more frequently off Sonoma coast and maybe a little in HMB.

Thanks,

Mike

3 Mainstream boats, an OK and then a Malibu for me.  It's a good progression.

Welcome aboard, Mike.    :smt001
