I am about to buy a cuda 300 f/f on eBay for $80.00.I was wondering if the skimmer transducer it comes with can be mounted to the inside bottom of my p-15 yak? I think it can but not sure. :smt102

Im a newb.... but my cuda 350 came with the transducer installed with goop. Air chambers and bubbles messed up the signal. But if its done right you should be good.

I posted about it and got some good response.

I have a Cuda 350 and installed the transducer myself. First cut out transducer shape on pool noodle type foam.  Gooped the foam in a nice flat spot, let it dry. Put about half an inch of goop inside foam and placed the transducer inside and let dry.  There's tutorials somewhere in the site. Works great for one since day one.

I have a cuda 300 and I just gooped the transducer inside the hull.  Works fine as far as I can tell but if I was to do it again, I would go with the method FishingAddict posted,  or the more mobile version where you use water instead of goop inside the foam.
