 im gonna go catch the outgoing tide for a possible sturgeon tommorow somewhere around honker bay , honker bay is a shallow flat across from the pittsburg area and my plan is to launch out ofmcavoys then paddle across the channel to settle at a spot thats around 16 feet deep , thunder storms with showers likely but the wind will be down and its gonna be an east wind so thats perfect for fishing the outgo at that spot (wind will be to my back) let me know if ur game , ill be going regardless.

  Great plan, have fun and take lots of pictures!  Seems like it was pretty slow fishing over the weekend during the derby, which  means hopefully the fish were hiding from the weekend hacks and saving themselves for the hard core fisherman!  Jim

  Let's get a long range date planned for a delta trip to some crazy cheap hotel where we can spend a night or two and attack some of the sloughs and bays of the delta!
