Are you interested in the Hobie Pursuit?  If yes, I'll post some pictures today.

Below is the descriptions and specifications for the Pursuit.  I'm asking $350 for it since I modified it into a fishing machine  :smt003

I just got off the phone with him and closed the deal for $995.  He actually had two of them at that price.  He says he has a message that someone wants the other one but the number was 'garbled'and he can't call him back.

I know they are a bit barge like but very stable.  I put 6 miles on one at CCK 2 weeks ago.  I figure some turbo fins should help it out.

MIRAGE DRIVE quesiton - Since he has two and I'll have my choice what should I look for?  He says they've only been out 4 times to Del Valle bur I know they aren't stainless so any wear or corrosion hot spots inherent in this design?  (I'll post this in the porper forum as well.)

So I'll finally round out the fleet with a purpose built fish yak.

Now if I can get enough WAF after she pedals it around I might get a Revo added.  Hey I can dream can't I?

JWR, congrats.  I know you've been looking for one, so I'm glad you finally found the right one. See you OTW.

If they both look good, I would go for the one with higher Serial Number!

sorry to threadjack, but related topic.

When I met Jed last time, he mentioned that he doesn't take his Hobie out much for ocean (mostly used for bays, lakes, etc.).  Jed, sorry if that misstates what you said.

I would like to know if other Hobie owners also do that, or have other limitations with their Hobie.  thx.

I used both the Hobie Sport and Outback in the ocean a lot and have no problems at all!
