Such a nice afternoon so I went fishing for a couple of hours and also picked up baits for tomorrow Sturgeon derby.   Saw a tap...tap... so get the rod in my hand and wait...then tap...tap...again so I set the hook...fish on!   But wait...something not right???  It's not fighting like a Sturgeon!  But I kept reeling in...No...It's not Mr. Dino...It's a....flat fish    Here are some pictures of the day...

WTG sonny.  With the rain those guys should be making a push up the estuary.  Good eats.  Congrats.

WTG, Sonny!  I've noticed over the years that you very often take photos of your fish while they're thrashing on top of the water next to you - that takes some balls because you have likely lost some fish because of your choice to entertain us rather than scooping up the fish ASAP.  Nice work.  

Nice catch Sonny.  Dave and I hope to get out Tueday, if the weather cooperates.  Hope to see you out there too.  We're gonna try for the Dinos again!

I eat them!  Usually I freeze them until I got 3 or 4 of them then cook them all at once.  I got 2 freezed up right now 

Nice one Sonny. You are almost at the 500 mark at the AOTY and it is only Feb. You are going to be hard to beat.
