Tim with a couple of gigantic stripers - July '04
Roger with the WSB  - 2004
Kevin,Fred and Me - Kings - Aug. '04
Chris - Kings - 2004

I like that picture of Tim and how that salmon just gets lost between those huge stripers.

muir's popped out some pretty good fish too-- salmon, halibut, stripers, lings...but nothing with the consistency of LM.

if its coastal then i havent really been anywhere but bean.  bean is pretty awesome though for cabezon city! linda mar is a bit scary because of how those waves just come from miles and miles seemingly.

Seems a bit salt centric. Berryessa has a great variety of fish, just about any freshwater species you want lives there.

Spotted bass
Smallmouth
Largemouth
Kokanee
Kings
Trout
Crappie
Bluegill
Catfish

I apologize, maybe I should be more clear about my post - title revised.

Yeah Steve, I've fished Muir a couple times and skunked it... I should have used you as a guide :smt002 I remember you pulling out a Big King out of that place - as well as some Halibut  :smt007

I'd give Bean Hollow a close second....I've seen a BIG thresher tail slapping bait fish there once.

Your compilation of LM's species is impressive, Mooch.  I'd love to fish there and many will agree it's the best spot.

I like Shelter Cove because it's remote, very beautiful, the fish might be bigger on average, and the chance of catching a Pacific Halibut makes it unique.

I caught a 38 pound king there in '06 paddling solo, so of course it's one of my favorites.   :smt001

Nice seal shot!  I had one of those bastards jump on deck while fishing Trinidad last year, broke my fish finder mount, lost my pliers and pooped myself a little bit.  Fun times.

Yeah, that's it. You always SEE the landlord when he's around. Yep  :smt005

Polygamist Al and I had a little incident there ourselves a couple years ago. Pucker factor. :smt009
