My Dad and I decided to give the Forebay a try. I have had good luck in the past this time of year but today was pretty tough. My FF was didn't work when we arrived so fishing the drop offs and channels was pretty hard. Of course when we got the boat off th car today to fix the FF, it worked.  :smt013 Water was pretty muddy, about a foot of visibility, and cold. I think we need a few days of sun to warm up the water a bit. My Dad did set a new kayak record today, scroll to the bottom to find out what it is.

Dad trolling from the front seat.

It was a bit windy to start but then went dead calm.

The swirl of a kayak record fish...

The money shot, estimated 3 foot long 20 pound carp caught on a lure, a kayak Oniel forebay record! (I have no idea if this is true  :smt044 )

Thanks for the report & info Bill. I've been considering a run east for a few weeks now. And even a carp pic is good motivation!
