Rancho Seco Skunk 01/31/10

Felt the need to be on the water this morning. Drove out to RS to buy my annual pass and take a paddle around the lake. Saw 5 or 6 boats on the water and a yellow prowler. Didn't get close enough to say hello. Water is muddy from the recent storms. Tried my luck fishing for bass and the planted trout, got skunked. Off at 12:30.

Still a great morning to be out.

Thanks for the update on RS.  Fishin' for bass has been tough lately.  Give it a few weeks to a month or so, and you'll get 'em biting good!
