Do they cut the bill off the hat like they do the trout? :smt004
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

The mutant square tailed trout (M.S.T.T.) went 23 inches and made it to the 5 pound weight class. But interestingly enough, the other trout I caught (da smaller one) had this 6.5 inch plastic worm in his belly.....

The loaner kayak did have a leak and had to be drained every hour or so. I believe the leak was from the fish finder that was installed in between the knee area (as your are seated) and because of my sexy 240 lbs. status  :smt002, the water coming in through the scupper holes were seeping in the base of the FF (which was most likely installed with little or no sealant at all). But no big deal, Adam helped me empty the yak out every time (what a brow  :smt008)

Anyway, Thank you Adam for getting me out there! The weather was PERFECT and we had the lake to ourselves = Good times  :smt023

Wow, I would have guessed larger than 5 lbs.  I was thinking 7 or 8.

Crazy the things we find in the belly of a fish.

Mike, here's a  10.9 #  "MSTT" caught in Del Valle. This one measured 26.5.

That's the laziest fish I've ever seen. I'm surprised that it could even swim without a tail. It's all good though. A fish is a fish... I thought the one from Chabot would've been a bit bigger too.

Yeah, I remember that fish.  You got it on a secret agent if I recall.

Pictures can be deceiving and that is probably why I thought your whopper looked bigger than it actually was.
