Those attachments in the center hatch of new Tarpons are a nice feature. Makes it easy to keep everything w/in reach. Get a waterproof box or a tupperware container for valuables that you want to keep dry and attach it inside the hull. [when launching into rough surf, I use a slightly-larger tupperware and put all my lures/tackle in there, so the tankwell and deck are clean and I won't lose anything]
The SunnyD hatch idea was for Sean---it only works on the old-style Tarpons because the new hatches are bigger (but maybe we can use one of those huge apple juice containers or something). Although I do appreciate a good lift-and-jiggle every now and then lol!
