Not sure which I want. I am having a bad bass itch and want to find some winter spotted bass.

If I go to Pedro =Gonna troll for trout until I get to my favorite cove for some dropshotting for lmb, then troll back to the ramp.

Melones = Find some structure in some deep coves and dropshotting and dragging my new Huddlestons around

Find a creek arm! There is a creek that enters a cove accessible from 132 that they run up when it's gushing.

Manny Basi of the Bait Barn reported continued slow bass fishing with the water turning muddy at the inlets from the quick rise in lake levels. Best bite still the Reaction Innovation Bad Shad Green or Flit on the drop-shot as well as small profile brown jigs with a forked brown trailer at 20-50 feet deep. Due to the heavy inflow, the fish have no consistent pattern, and they can be located from the shallows to deeper water. Bank fishing for planted trout is fair with rainbow glitter Power Bait or gold Kastmasters throughout access areas. Monte Smith of Gold Country Sport Fishing advised finding clearer water in the center of the lake, but there should also be trout holding near the mud lines along the banks. He advised scent lures with vibration to attract trout. Lake rose to 73 percent capacity. Call: Monte Smith 581-4734; Danny Layne 586-2383; Bait Barn 874-3011
