The reason I ask is I have two friends that own clubs on lower Honcut Rd. It's a small community up there so I figured you might know em.

The Clubs on Honcut road are GREAT! I would love to be able to hunt them some day! Are you a duck hunter?

      I'm a General Contractor, doing remodel work for the past 25 years.   Before that an industrial electrician working in a variety of manufacturing facilities.      I've never seen a worse economy than now. It's painful seeing all this talent sitting idle.     Blame it on greed...      " It's a Global Economy "  the mantra repeats, as even still more jobs are exported to China.   ( A rant developing )
   My age is starting to catch up, and  hard work has taken its toll on my bones.  With the writing on the wall ( the phone not ringing )   two years ago I started building a strip planked kayak with the goal of going into production, and with it job creation.   Three months ago we finally went into production building a different type of animal.     www.santacruzkayaks.com     Ya gotta fish from one to understand.

New to NCKA, what a great forum.  I have multiple jobs for the same company, I am an estimator, building designer (freelance custom homes) and project manager.  Currently in Sacramento building the new Sutter Womens and Childrens Hospital. 

Too funny, I used to do the same as you and actually did the same on the first Sutter Womens and Childrens Hospital. My daughter Liz was born there. Welcome aboard and to the Madness!

I'm still at the same data storage company I was the last time I posted here. I'm in billing/AP during the day.
By night I become the creative force of Piscean Artworks,  focusing on "flat painting" in a Pacific Northwest style. I will be showing in the Doon Art  Studio Tour, an open studio tour of Bonny Doon artists on July 16 & 17. I'll have about a dozen new pieces on display, including some 10' totem boards and whatever else I can come up with in the coming months.

Below are some pieces I've done in the past, "Outer Bay" on 1" pine planks, Ravensblack's "Albion Appreciation" on heart redwood slats, and one of my early halibut pieces done on traditional cedar planks.

Thanks Bigfoot for the welcome.  Looks like a great site with a ton of info.  I think I will be busy for a while. LOL

I just became a Registered Nurse last week. So if anybody knows of any openings for new grads or has a hookup in the hospital world let me know thanks.

Well I just graduated and don't have any hospital experience other then clinical rotations,  but would love to work in anything that has to do with pediatrics or the NICU.
