Fished a few hours with good company on the water (SteveS, ChefS &  Troy).  Before leaving at 10, I think the consensus from everyone was that it was very slow.

I picked up the only two strikes I had, small fish. Although bait is still present I marked very few fish on the finder.

I had what must have been a good 75 pound Sturgeon jump right next to my boat around dawn.  :jawdrop   That woke me up like a strong cup of coffee. Maybe a sign from above of some fun to be had this winter.

That is probably it for me chasing stripers locally.  Had a good fall. Although I never got that double digit fish, had lots of numbers with few fish that were very respectable .

If the water holds up, maybe this fall or winter I'll get lucky in the Delta.

Jim
