2010 Calendar of Events....Be There!

These events are always a great time for everyone from the Big Guns to the Newbies.  Some dates confirmed and some pending.  If you have any updated info then post up.  I'm plan on attending all of them.  See Ya on the water.

Saturday, September 18th at Casper.  NORCAL Picasso Open, great camaraderie and everyone gets a prize.

Aside from these paddle out and spear'em events, the Hook and Line event that I'm looking forward to the most in 2010 is GMS IV....ABKing, are you going to start your 50+ page post yet?  

Ideally any GWKC events like Albion is On II doesn't conflict with any of these dates.

Let's plan for 2010.....This is the type of post I like to see in the slow winter months!!!!

I'll be there. I finally got a freedive computer and I'm anxious to try it out. I'll be diving as soon as these storms pass by. Anyone up for winter spearing?

We are planning a three day trip to Albion the weekend of the 29th if weather is good. Company welcome. I agree with a pot for biggest Ab this year. I would like to have one for ling as well.

On March 13th there will be a dive/spearfishing gear swap meet at Seasniper headquarters in San Carlos.  If you have gear you want to sell, you can contact Seasniper for details in selling at the swap meet.

For the guys that want to get into the sport, this is a great opportunity to get some quality used gear.  There will be plenty of gear for guys that want to move up in quality or size. 

As I get more info on sellers or items, I'll update in a new thread.

Looks like a cool event.  I'll appreciate a full report at Shelter Cove - Good luck!   

Amphibian and I represented NCKA at the Big Ab Big Ling but fell short of the 10"+ abs that took 1st and 2nd. 

Looking forward to Matt's Big Ab Event to benefit SCAN (Sonoma County Abalone Network) at Ocean Cove on August 21st.
