I'd finally got it and just wanted to share with ya.  This is just one of the favorite and will be adding a different one when the funds are available.  Want to thank Kevin Estrada for sharing...http://www.youtube.com/user/sturgeonslayerscom.
Purchased them from one of the Canadian tackle shops from British Columbia.

Nice rod yester. How much did you pay for them. Looks like a perfect line weight
and all.

That's a super nice rod!  Hope it didn't cost you an arm or a leg  :smt003

E-mailed Shimano USA after seeing Kevin’s youtube clips and got a response back that they didn’t carry them.  So I had to order them from a tackle shop in British Columbia, our neighbor Canadian friends, who placed in a special large order of sturgeon rods from Shimano.  Jedmo, the price is 169.99 per rod with 51.46 for shipping and a total price of 221.45 which was enough to cover a arm and leg Sonny.

One fish is all it will take to pay itself off. Let us know how the rod feels when
you land your first sturgeon on it. Nice rod! Oh, and what reel combo will you
pair the new rod with?

Jedmo did you check out the clips..http://www.youtube.com/user/sturgeonslayerscom.  It has a nice bendo action.  Just wish it had just a little tad more power lift.  Overall it feels just like a Ugly Stik, somewhere between a Med to Med Heavy Action.

Who is OPS, ravensblack?

I'm not Craig but OPS stands for Outdoor Pro Shop.  2 stores - one in Oakland and the other in Rohnert Park.
