GS4 - The MADNESS begins!!!!!!!

I'm gonna practice catch and realease! .........I pull the shaft out of the skull and realease onto my game clip!!!!!

It's torture waiting to see what the ocean will offer us in 11 days!  Right now the one-week-out view looks good...  (knock on wood).   

Took this yesterday at 10:30 AM.  Thought it might inspire those who may be undecided for GS4.  Caught on an apex near the whistle.

Thanks BaitNBeer, unfortunately I already sold the gaffs I made and gave the last one away to my Dad for fathers day.  That was the last of my gaff hooks until a trip to Sacramento. In fact I only have one or two knockers left to sell.  I started a new job in my department, and have been short on time this year.  I will start having weekends off so hope to make some more and attend some more tournaments!

My Dad is coming with me this year.  Not to enter, just to get a taste of kayak fishing.  You will have to come by and check out his gaff.

BlackAb, I have a bunch of lures for you again.  Just as a thanks for putting this all on.

I got my Ab card and put new rubbers on my spear guns!  I also got a nice little ACR strobe for my PFD.  My old strobe was cheesy, this thing about blinds you when activated!

I haven't forgot about GMS IV but I did forget about this thread. I haven't read any of it so now I have to go back and read 40 pages. I plan to be there Friday fairly early. I will be diving for abs and hitting a ling hole that was very productive rod/reel last year. I don't think any of my buddies are coming up with me so I would like some company. We can get abs shallow. The ling spot is about 30' deep. Any takers?

I got a few gaffs and knockers that I plan on bringing up. May not be in the same ballpark as Matt but happy to sell/trade.
