GS4 - The MADNESS begins!!!!!!!

Nice...yeah I am gonna make sure she has a radio with her when I fish (no cell service) but I figure with all the NCKA'ers that a firefighters, EMT's etc. we should be in good hands. Man could you imagine the post if a baby is born at an event!!!! That baby would have 100 aunts and uncles on day one!

Yes Eric, the whole family will make it to Shelter Cove this time around. I'm getting
so excited I can't wait to get up there again and hang with our northern NCKA
brothers. I wonder if there's anymore wolfeel and octopus around.

Yes, as a Team SharkBait member I have been engaged in a rigorous training regimen to prepare for the event!! It involves spending as much time out of the house as possible on the kayak with a fishing pole in my hand!!!

Just hope I have more luck with the catching aspect at GS4 than I have been having around Capitola recently!!

All joking aside...we did do a team inventory of safety equipment/skills/experience to make sure that between us we had enough goodies and know-how to be safe and have fun...really looking forward to fishing with my Team and with all you guys!!

I was rapping with Hawk this afternoon - he's down with helping me with a safety seminar Friday evening at the boat ramp.  He's got all the certifications and is offering his waiver too.  Thank you Hawk!   

Out of the 48 currently paid for the tournee, 20 were there last year and 28 are first-timer's to GS4.

I'm in, another GS first-timer here!. Will drop the check in the mail tomorrow.

I am coming, reg or not.  I will try to get a check out the first of the week.

I certainly hope to get to go. I already have the campsite rented, but with no job, the wife had first veto powers.

Most likely I will be there, might need to carpool up there to save some money, certainly don't want to drive up alone. Starting to get excited!!!!

I am in Aptos, Santa Cruz area, anybody from here or farther South coming my way?

Stoggie, I'm going and would be happy to give you a ride, but the wife and daughter are coming too and she says the car is gonna be too full of all of our camping/fishing gear to fit anybody else...
 
I disagree, but I am already using up all my WAF points to get her to come up...if she decides to flake (which is a definite possibility) I will send you a PM right away...I will be heading up Friday AM and back on Sunday.

Thanks for the offer, but I know from last year, more than two guys and all the gear is too much.

I am sure something will work out between now and then.

I fully plan on being there and will drive up if necessary.
