GS4 - The MADNESS begins!!!!!!!

Just got a reservation for a tent site. Gonna share a space with BanjoTad, may god have mercy on my soul.

Didn't get a number, as she wasn't really awake this morning, but will get a call when they have a site number for me.

I asked for a site near the upper back where we were last year, somewhere in the 90's I believe.

Anyway, hope we can still sign up for the tourney at the campground.

I may loosen up the late fee, but my aim is to not have to deal with new registrations at Shelter Cove.

GS4 - May 15th, 2010 at Shelter Cove

- AOTD format
- bonus of 1" per released species
- team fishing for safety compliance and C&R assistance
- each team to have VHF, camera, measuring device, prior ocean experience
- individual scoring
- potluck at The Tides Inn
- Grand Prize of new blue Trident 15 Angler w/ seat
- other prizes will be offered (custom tackle, potential seat/gps/paddle/pfd/...)
- free t-shirt for first 40 early registrants (before April 15th)
- $25 registration includes shirt and tournee entry
- in the event of a hurricane we'll decide the fate of the prizes by committee of all members present
- late entry (after May 1st) = $40 and no shirt
- all entry fees over and above receipts for kayak, shirts, potluck supplies/other to be given as prize money or decided on by committee of all members present
- kayak can be returned and t-shirts may not be made until at least 36 people have paid
- I reserve the right to cancel the tournee and return all entry fees

RE: Teams - Don't have one yet.  I'm a relative newbie but I won the Mew Melones Trout Bout with the 15" leviathan.  Skinniest trout I ever saw but he had attitude.

   Im starting a batch of hoppy IPA tomorrow using homegrown cascade hops.. should be fun to see how that comes out..   Been talking to greg (blue native) about what we want to brew up to bring along.. gotta get started on that soon!   Wondering what beer would go good with fishing..  oh yeah.. any beer..
