Do you have a dremel or a friend with one? It does not have to be exactly circular/oval since the flush mount covers the hole, Also best to make your first cut a little conservative becase u do not want to have too big of a hole as it may leak.

Rotozip or dremel with side cutting bit works good.

Your drill is fine, just add something like this to it:

I think that could work with a 90 degree flushmount but not quite with an angled flushmount since the hole needs to be more of oval in shape. Shicken cut mine and did a bang up job

I cut mine out with a tool just like that. It worked great. Make sure you don't go to big on the hole. You can always cut more, but you can't put it back. :smt001

I'd go with the hole saw, not the dremmel.  The hole saw, like pictured in that link above, has a pilot drill that will help ya keep it steady when you do the drilling.  Pick a size that is just about the right size as the hole then use something like a dremmel, or a file to widen it to the size of your flush mount.

What about a sharp razor blade once I drill it out. I files the last ones I did and it sucked and took forever or felt like it did.
