Does the RAM rod holder and Scotty adaptor go together?  If so, does it need a base mount?  Or is the Scotty adaptor the base mount?  Or does the Scotty adaptor need to be attached to a Scotty base mount? 
I'm looking for a rod holder for a OK Malibu II recently purchased.  btw, I'm in the area (live in Sarn Ramon).
