They're getting to be downright obnoxious, might have to start carrying a sledgehammer

This is a worrisome development.

Maybe the GWs are taking lessons from the "Furbags and learning they can get an easy meal by following boats around.Not only free fish but a Furbag once in awhile. That's pretty freaky if every time you are bringing a ling to the boat a GW might take a swipe at it.

Might have to start carrying a can of "Shark Repellent Bat Spray" like I saw in the Batman movie recently (the old 60's one, not the new one - hey, I was showing it to my son, it wasn't for my benefit!)

That is a funny movie.  This fish-snatching gw thing is not funny.  This is the first year I've ever heard of this, now its kinda frequent....sheesh.

Carl, I know a guy who had a seal jump into his alum skiff just off Linda Mar. it was about two minutes after he saw a great white. The seal did not get off the boat until he got back to shore. Smart seal.

 Seal sees GW.  Seal jumps onto kayak trying to get away.  Seal dumps you and himself back into the water as a GW is making a pass.  Not good!
