Shimano Rod Sale at West Marine, San Carlos

All Shimano Crucial rods ($130) and Clarus ($70) on clearance for $19.44. I was on my lunch break yesterday and noticed that their sales clerk was marking them down. I could not resist and got one casting version of each.

crazy. at that price you should have bought them all =) wish i could make it down there but oh well.  great rods with lifetime warranty.

Thanks for the tip on the rods dude! I bought the last crucial rod. She didnt even know which one it was but I bought it anyway. Haha. Any of those rods are at least 139 and up to 169 so for 20 bucks and 6 bucks shipping it will be like christmas waitng for the UPS dude.

Did you buy it online?

I just called the store Sonny and said I wanted to buy all the crucial rods left. There was only one left by that time.

Does the Santa Cruz store also participate in the sale?

I checked the west marine in San Jose after work last night...  Sadly no good deals on rods,  hardly any rods in there at all really.  Good luck guys.

same for Oakland.  hardly any rods and no sale.  I think they made a mistake and someone's gonna get fired...

I went into the San Carlos store this afternoon. I noticed one of the rods on sale must have had a broken tip poorly repaired. I hope you all inspected before you bought. I picked up 2, at the check out the gal asked if I was a kayak fisherman..... I asked if it was that obvious? She said they had sold 12 to guys on yaks so far.

Stopped by there again today, 1 Crucial Spinning and a bunch of Clarus still available.  Go get em!!
