Makes me want to book a trip on that boat...

Anyone wants to go try that? Ive got a bunch of jigs to share.... even have an extra 2-speed  :smt001

Its really just a cold ocean trip out to haul up what feels like 50 gallon trash cans. But some people (like me) enjoy it once or twice a year. Works out great if they run a crab combo too.

Its a lot of fun, something to do once or twice a year. Remmember to soak the squid meat in water for 5 or 6 hours before eating to get rid of that off taste.

i thought for a minue that i was on that trip when i saw the shark, the same thing happened on the New sea angler when i went out.

BTW he reaffirmed that he was keen to see if we could get a mothership trip together for whatever  :smt001

I picked up my in-law from SFO and drove her home in Monterey this evening.  Brought my fishing gear and tried my luck at the fisherman wharf this morning (tried to call Chris & Randy last night but no one answered the phone!) Talked to Randy and found out he only go out for whale watching trips today and no Humboldt trip until Saturday   :smt012  Just my luck!!!  :smt009
