I'm looking to head out for crabbing on my kayak this Thursday morning. The forecast is like 6-8 feet swells, but I'm planning on launching from the beach at Linda Mar if it seems doable. If not, then I'll probably head over to HMB and drop my traps there.

Any tips or reports from Linda Mar lately? Also, would you recommend even launching there on Thursday or are the swells to large? I'm thinking about launching from the southside where the waves seem to be the smallest. I've launched from a beach before, but it's usually very calm and the waves are 2-3 feet.

Thanks!!

I am willing to bet you end up in HMB if the report ends up being accurate.

I agree with Jaywo. HMB would be 1~3 ft outside the jetties inside the Green buoy. Wish I could join you but I'm driving my family to Yuba. Would you like to have a repeat week of the 28th? I'm off that week.

Lindi is hard to launch from with waves even from the south edge.  cfrabbing can be good but it hasnt been launchable for me this season..............good luck.  im heading to HMB that day.........mavericks parking lot!
