Turned 53 yesterday  :smt010 but my wonderful wife bought me a very nice gift despite
me telling her not to. :smt003
Anyway, It's a Hills Hats "Optimum" made in New Zealand
Features include: floatation foam in crown, neck cape that conceals in the brim, concealed cash pocket, storage ruckets for flies/ lures, chin strap, and dupont teflon water resistant coating. :smt004
A very nice hat that she paid 50 bucks for.
Hell, I have never spent that much on a fishing reel :smt009
Please ignore the ugly old guy modeling the hat :smt002

That is a really nice hat!  The male hat model doesn't look too bad either  :smt003

No chin strap to keep the wind from blowing it off your head? $50 is a bargain. I've seen them advertised for up to $80.

Nice hat Tad.  It will look even better covered in bait and fish slime!  I like the neck protection, it will be a great way to keep the neck from getting to red.

:fish4  Yup nice hat!  My current fishing \ yaking hat has a neck thingy as well,  but it's brim is flimsy,  and flips up in strong winds.  The brim on your hat doesn't look flimsy at all!

Best thing I like about the hat is that it's not one-size-fits-all. There's actually a size for my BIG head.
