Busy times lately at work and with the family.  Finally got back on the water this morning down at Crab Park with Domenic.  Crash was working his gear when we got there and we BS'd with his Dad for a bit at the parking lot.  First pull I got a nice jumbo but only managed a couple more after that.  It was really nice to get back on the water.  Domenic got a few nice ones too and we boiled them up at his place after lunch.  Crab cakes and crab sandwiches for dinner were oh so scrumptous.   :smt001

Nice Black AB.  That picture of the crab with the beach looks like something out of a Japanese Monster Flick!  I am glad you didn't torture us by photographing the crab cakes and sandwiches, just mentioning it made my mouth water!

Good stuff newbie. Have you ever tried throwing a crab snare while waiting for the traps to fill? It m/b a productive way to pass the time.

"The ratio of females to males caught is incredibly low"

I noticed that too.  I probably caught 35 or 40 (all but 2 undersized) and not a single female.

Good seeing you guys out there.  Great way to spend a Sunday morning.
