And here comes the snow

Went to bed with about a half inch of snow, woke up to almost 8". News said to expect up to two feet here. Makes me want to ride the kayak down the road! 

Man, that is pretty.  Probably puts a crimp in day to day actions but it is much needed.  Sadly the next storm is supposed to melt everything.

The snow missed Redding but it's very cold up here.

yeah, it snowed on my way to work this morning too...through modesto, tracy, altamont and even a tiny bit in livermore, strange. darned cold.

Got up early to go to work and was expecting snow here in Lake County and the only thing I saw was the "MOON" Was really hoping for about a foot. Maybe later in the week. 

The foothills of Fremont are capped with snow, all the way thru Milpitas.

It was snowing at my house this morning. it was 32.2 degrees when I left for work.

 

If I heard it correctly, this is a storm sweeping down from the arctic which would explain everything.
