Hobie Dave and I hit the Delta yesterday morning.  We launched at Lauritzen's Harbor, at the base of the Antioch Bridge.  Lauritzen's is a great facility.  Clean restrooms, good launch ramp and docks, and safe secure parking for a reasonable $6.00 fee.  We were armed with mudsuckers and the Stripers responded immediately.  We both had hookups within a few minutes of leaving the harbor.  I got 4, total but released 3 including a "keeper" that I caught early in the day and hoped to upgrade to a bigger one which never happened.  Dave and I both left with a nice Striper each.  It was a beautiful calm, cold day on the Delta.  No wind and mild currents making it a great day on the water.  Pictures attached:

Lookin good, I was out on Monday over in the Main Sac R, dunked shrimp on one rod and mudsucker on the other, not on tap on the sucker all day, 2 small keepers on the shrimp, go figure,,,,,

Looks like your day was allot colder than mine,

Where abouts did you fish, and what depth,

tasty fish you got there,

Nice work guys.  If you don't mind what did you catch those on.  I can't make out what's in the mouth of the second striper pic.  Thanks Andy

Live mudsuckers in about 20 feet of water, drifting with the tide.

Great report and especially great intel on the launch site, I have always wanted a great launch spot in that area, it doesn't get much more fishy!
