Crazy Halloween in the Land of Zion

Halloween night I'm sitting in my room watching TV with the window open. About 9:30 I hear Bam, Bam, Bam......( a dozen times) like it was right outside my window. Damn, that sounded like gunshots. I thought no, it has to be kids with fireworks. Ten minutes later sirens and lights and my street is blocked off with the Swat guys. Turns out a 24 year old kids girlfriend/ baby Momma had left him for another and he was on an apparent suicide/ murder rampage. He ended up shooting an officer in the leg. He was caught and has a couple attempted murders, one on an officer, and a whole host of charges. Officer will recover fully. I live in a small town and know the officer, the victims and the suspect. He was a good kid that I really liked that just lost his direction. There are bullet holes in a bunch of cars on the street. Happened right accross the street. Just like the old west. I feel like I'm back in So Cal

man, that sucks, Ed.  We share the family's grief.  Only ever heard one driveby in my entire life, some punkass slanging rock on the corner got greased. 

That's kind of a &itchass move though, shooting people's car up.
