Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Where to fish on this beautiful Sunday. Keeping up with my old guy counterpart during his travels this weekend we decided to meet at the Liquor store on 175 and get minnows. Myself going north and Allen going south a bit. 6:30 am rendezvous was perfect. No minnows though, the store is closed. WTF! Old guy #1 says no worries I happen to have carted some agents all the hell over No Ca.. Sure enough there they are all cozied up and waiting to perform their magic. Launched to flat water and the forcast of 30 degrees was way off. It was a balmy 45 or so. The lake was 49 when we started and ended up around 53. First I tried some lures action and right away got hit on a craw crankbait. LDR after the fish vaulted 3 ft in the air. OK, its fucking on baybay. Next a nice 18 in fish on a shad rap topwater. COOL! After that the agents were put to work and boy did they. Right down to the last little brave soul. My personal best day for LMB. No upgrade but I released over 13 fish from scrappy 15inchers to the last one of the day at 19. Around 5 pounds I think. We missed Terry today and hope that wherever you are Terry, you are doing good and having a blast. Miss you bro. Pics for you. I took them myself so they are a bit hammy. Those sunny fall days do that to an old guy enjoying the last act.

Whoa... those are some healthy looking fish. I was wanting to get up that way of the Turkey Day long weekend but things just didn't work out for me. Oh well...

I forgot to say, BIG KUDOS TO ALLEN! He started me on this AOTY journey almost 11 months ago to the day. We fished the Lady on Jan 1st this year when I caught my AOTY LMB. Allen, you have shown me a lot this year and its so cool to say.  "You are the man, you old dude!"
