Fishing drought broken

Back in October my job sent me to CT for a week of training, as I am from the East Coast I took an extra week and visited family in Rhode Island.  I got the chance to go out in a canoe with my brother in law on a very cold morning and fish a reservoir.  The only way in was through portage so we were alone on a roughly 10 acre spring fed lake.  I got the only fish of the day, a 7 inch small mouth.  Not keeper size, but it did make my really long drought of not catching fish for some time over.  No pic, as I had hoped something bigger was going to come up but it didn't.

Now if I could only catch something in California this year...

Too bad the RF season is over for the year but I know you'll catch "something" before the year end.  Thanks for the report Kevin.
