A former tenant left some red gas cans - some of them full of god-knows-what - in my garage. I want to get rid of them, but don't know the procedure for this. Any advice as to where to take unidentified fuel?

Thanks.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

call your garbage collector (or look on line) they usually have a collection day where you can drop off god knows what. You may be limited to the amount.

Nasty Hazmat you have there....

There should a Hazmat collection site in your county that will take that off your hands,

if the Garbage co can't help, call the Fire Department, they should know....

If they smell like gasoline, I wouldn't think twice about pouring them into your car's gas tank, diluted with a full tank of fresh gas.

M2, when I moved in a few years back, there were about a dozen cans of paint, cleaners, and solvents which I needed to get rid of. I found that you can drop them off at the Sunset Scavenger facility free of charge in South San Fran.

Here is their site for the Hazmat facility. http://www.sfrecycling.com/sfhhw/index.php?t=d
