About a third of my job is dealing with dumbass peole trying stuff like this.  Aside from what local PD does, my deptarment issues a $5000 fine, and have yet to have a judge dismiss it.  Some get time, most get the fine and community service.  I have seen four people this year lose fingers or limbs, and one death.  It sounds like a good idea to try and make a firecracker, but nobody knows the effective range of the positive or negative phase of what you have made, or the range of the shrapnel.  This video is obviously phony, but depicts the potential of a miscalculation.

yeah, lights back on & no char on the foil.  I'd think there would be some blackening on the foil if he got that on his face.  Smoke dissipated real fast too.
