Well it looks like the season is about over again......2 weeks left

I am going to try to go out every morning this week from Capitola and Santa Cruz Harbor.
Gonna try to stock up the freezer before it's over.

I will most likely stay close to SC or Cap the rest of the season, as I am unemployed and can fish here free without a lot of travel.

Will most likely go out after taking the daughter to school (8:00-8:30) and fish till noon.

Anybody want to give it a try, any day with good weather will be a "go" day let me know.

Company welcome

I thought the season ended Nov. 15th, but I better check

Any case I will be going out as there is not much sense in spending time looking for jobs that don't exist.
Hopefully one of the two businesses I have started this month will start getting something going for me.
It may take a while, but hope is always present. I've put a lot of money (that I don't have) and time putting these together, hopefully it begins to pay off soon.

Let me know when you can get out.

Jedmo... Thanks for the good wishes, it means a lot

EWB, I will be going out Monday for sure, maybe Wed, Thur or Fri as well

For sure the weekend as well.

Stoggie

Stoggie:
Hope the businesses go well, and same for the fishing.  GEt out early, sounds like we'll have some mondo winds soon.

ps if your business is anything we (NCKA) might support, maybe put a post in on the classifieds forum?

Good luck this week Stoggie! Wish I could join you but I'll have to wait until Sat or Sunday. Let me know if you want to fish this wknd. Also good luck w/the new biz; I hope it works out x100.

RF season used to end Nov 30th down here. But this year it closes Nov 15th. Because they gave us an extra 15 days on the front-end, which works out great for kayakers because the second half of Nov is usually rough anyways....I'd rather have 15 extra days in May than in Nov.

Hojoman

I have been wanting to meet you since the nice gifts of the teaser flies and metal jigs.

They all worked great, I still have a few left but have sadly lost most with snags etc. I really appreciate the gifts, if we ever hook up, I will thank you personally.

Nov 15th is in fact the date here for the closer.

I am going to wait for the high wind advisories are over most likely wednesday or thursday before venturing out this week.

Stoggie,

I'll join you! Just let me know when you plan to hit the water. I've been going out alone on this end of the bay. It will be good to fish with you again. Let me know your plans.
