I added a few pictures, but no pictures of the cookie cutter trouts...you all know what they look like anyways!!!

On the water at 7:00am, off at 4:30pm. I really had to work for them today. I trolled the entire lake, but I should of stayed right of the boat launch where I caught a majority of the fish and many missed strikes. Everything was on top, I tried 70 - 100ft down where I marked a ton of fish, but nothing!! Only a few other boats on the lake with about the same results. Best results were a dodger/wedding ring tipped with a worm.

I will either hit up Caples (weather permitting) or DV next week.

I love the area up there. I have been going up to Wrights Lake for something like 55 years with my family. The last time we were up there I stopped at Ice House and yes Sonny the water is loe everywhere up there. We need rain and lots of snow this year. Nice pic of the birds and the water. Are those mergansers or ducks?

Nice report and pictures , was supposed to go up there this Friday thru Sunday except missed  3 days of work with the flu . Feeling pretty ragged so it was a no go !

The water level is typical for those lakes at this time of the year , have seen Ice House much lower than those picturesin mid to late October , no worries - it fills to the brim every spring .
