I would love to join but don't have quick release anchor next time.

 I still just use a 2" ring that my anchor rope passes thru, have a line that is attacted to my stern bungees and attached the other end to paddle bungee locks, and have a quick released knot with in hands reach...

 pay out line thru ring, hit bottom , pay out a little more and tie anchor rope to ring,

 ring slides to stern via line attached to yak....
