My friend Joe and I arrived Miller park around 8am and launched around 8:30am.  Bait fish are still there but not as plentiful as a couple weeks ago!  We dragged Mackerels around all day without any bite.  The wind started to pickup around 3pm so we decided to fish for another half hour and call it a day.  About 15 minutes later,  I heard Joe called for help so I turned around and saw he's in the water with the kayak upside down!  I helped him turn the kayak over and climb back on the kayak.  He got a deep cut on the forehead which need some stitches later on.  I asked him what's happenned and he's not sure himself.  I'll call him tomorrow to see if everything is alright.  Talked to several boats at the dock and nobody caught anything today!

I want to know why Joe flipped, was it wind related? I could see that happening when the wind kicks up in earnest there.
Glad to hear all is well otherwise.

Glad your buddy's OK.  Since he is...  where's the carnage shots?!

Seriously though, no scenery or baitfish shots?...  You're slippin', Sonny.   :smt002

Chicks dig that kinda thing.  I'm sure that was good for a few sympathy points.  Not surprising that the bait is thinning out

I did take some pictures of the scenery and bait fish but it was late last night when I was done with cleaning the gears.  Thanks for reminding me.  I'll post them later.  No shot of the incidence since I was concentrate on helping him get out of the water ASAP!  Someone called 911 so the fire department and ambulance were there.  They took good care of him and said the cut stopped bleeding and gave hime some ice patches. I appreciated those guys/gals as they're truly professional!
