Any thoughts on these two kayaks?

I'm thinking of buying another kayak, and the T13 Angler looks nice with the Sonar Shield, but I like the smaller size of the T11 and the only difference seems to be that it doesn't have the Sonar Shield.

Anyone have any experience with these?
Thanks...

you thinking about buying it at the clavey's sale?

My recommendation would be the 13.  it is a better paddling boat, and can do almost anything that the 11 can do (maybe a slight bit long for some rivers, but not bad).  there is a slight weight difference.   The sonar shield is better than i expected it to be - i've been dumped a few times but my FF doesnt even seem to be affected.

i think it depends on what you plan to use it most for.  if you're going to use it mostly in the ocean, i'd go with the 13. the extra length is also helpful if you want to store rods in the hull, because your effective rod storage would be more (you can't really store a 10' rod in a 11' boat since they dont insert properly).  i cannot quite get my 8'6 steelhead rods inside of my T13 without making them a 2 piece.

Get the T13 Andrew. You will be very happy with it. It is an all around boat IMO.

The T-11 is a great little boat and is a the best river fishing yak I have tried.  The 11 is an 11 though so for the ocean or flat water there are better boats. The T-13 is probably the best all-around, do it all, fishing  yak ever...OK got it exactly right on the 13.
