Field and Stream has a blurb on their website about a Texan kayak fisherman who caught a 10 lb largemouth on a rattlesnake that swam to his boat.  He's got a nicely rigged Malibu2.

I actually received that as an email and saved it to post here.  I held off because I was concerned about copyright infringements and now glad I didn't post it, knowing it is from F&S

Sounded ridiculous - as in crazy!  I kept waiting for him to be bitten and didn't see that ending coming.  Very cool, that is for sure.

so he sees a rattlesnake swimming at him and instead of paddling away he thinks "hey fish bait" i guess their right everything is bigger in texas......... including head injuries apparently

 but hey thats a nice fish.
