WTG on the halibut Craig. Well deserved after putting in some serious hours in
that place. Congrats Kiel and others on the leopard shark.

BTW Patrick. Keep at it, you'll catch that dream upgrade soon enough. :smt044

That is one beauty fish Craig.
Way to put the time in & collect your reward from mother Ocean. She was good to both of us yesterday, eh?
Nice crew you had to hang with too!

Beautiful hali and leopards!  Day looks great too.. now Im kicking myself for not running out there.  Spent the day working around the house and watching football and neither was near as fun as that outing looked!   I need to make some time and get back out there soon.

Craig: it was so great you caught that hali after an entire day OTW. Well deserved and vicariously satisfying for me to have been there to see the fish.

Thanks for sharing your good vibes out there. I needed some encouragement about having a 14' boat vs 16'. I figure if a guy who gets out as much as you says a 14' Tarpon will be fine on the ocean then so be it!

Unfortunately sharky didn't catch anything, and so has passed judgement on Tomales Bay as a place not worth the drive. I've been trying to get him to join me there since I first went (the day I first met you).  He believes the place has been fished out. Probably true to a degree, but I think the challenge is worthy of chasing & the area is so beautiful + oyster availability, making it a great near-home spot to hit.

I must say this past Sunday was the best conditions I've ever experienced there. I had a great time. Sad I didn't meet SteveS tho; so taken by fishing I didn't socialize much.

Alien, any time I will PM you next time we go out. The hali I caught really pales in comparison to your monster from July. Congrats again on that baby!

Dosnt look like it but she was pretty big...well over 4 ft. swallowed a whole jumbo mack. I was up against the cliff with macks and dines busting big time being chased. adrenalin pumpin i couldnt get them to take the sabiki+kmaster. Finally paddled over to Brian and demanded a lively mack, paddled back dropped it in and found out what whas hearding the bait.
Tomales is beautiful, but, Criag that was your AOTY fish. you had it cyrogenically frozen nexto Michael Jackson and pulled it out at the ramp just to piss me off. Thas my messed up story and im sticking to it! Oh and that ghost from earlier in the week...you guys got some mad photoshop skillz. Theres nothing but rays and leapords in TB..  :smt005  :smt005  :smt044
