I have a couple of old Penn reels, used but working, and they'll be just fine with new line and cleaning, a little TLC. Old school Penn 60, interesting that the lever selecting free spool and in gear work opposite of the norm. Free spool is forward. Works fine though.

The other Penn is a Squidder, with a metal rather than plastic spool- a strong reel.

You don't have to pay me for them, just use them and catch fish. I'm in Scotts Valley, you'll have to pick up, or pay for shipping.

The third reel is unusual, a garage sale special from the eighties, I think. It's a large spinning reel, French made, branded Luxor. It's well made and working, but I think it should find a home in someones collection, or just for ambiance in your fishing cabin.

Will part with any or all of these for some small consideration...like a bottle of red?

Tight lines,

Paul

That squidder would be a great reel, especially with an aluminum spool swapped in, (which are cheap on ebay).

I could use one still Paul.  Which ever one would be good for a total noob like myself.  What type of six pack you like?
