I thouhgt I was better than that, but I lost the bow hatch for my Manta Ray 14 on the freeway...  If you've seen the hatch in question you'll wonder how it got lost, since there are bungees holding it on.  But if you get lazy and stow the hatch in the hull, and forget about it?  They will blow out.

Anyway, California Canoe and Kayak have em in stock for $40.  Pretty good deal, imo.  I was expecting to get reamed.
