Business has rules to follow, they are put in place to level the playing field and safe guard society...

You mean like the health insurer antitrust exemption? That’s right; health insurance companies are exempt from antitrust laws. Regional and de facto monopolies have been legal for 60 years... So much for "level playing field".

The only fact a rational person needs to know is this debate: “part of a record-breaking influence campaign by the health-care industry, which is spending more than $1.4 million a day on lobbying in the current fight, according to disclosure records.”

$1.4 million a day to stop this legislation. Now ask yourself which explanation makes more sense considering how many people’s health needs this money could potentially cover:

a) They are burning through all this money to protect their customer's health.

b) They are desperately trying to protect their Golden Goose.

I think I can probably speak for all of us on NCKA when I say we are very. very unlikely to attempt to offer you sexual favors having seen you in some 15 year old TV footage advertising snack food. Maybe if you were selling game clips it would be different. Is that really the reason you won't tell us what the product was?

the health insurance companies are heavily regulated by the states, its this regulation that requires an anti trust exemption. Health insurance companies can not cross state lines and at the same time they need to be big enough to have a large risk pool, people paying premiums, to be able to be a viable business.
The only way they can stay in business is by violating the anti trust laws. If Obama and the Dems where so concerned with anti trust and lowering the cost of healthcare for everyone they would allow the health insurance companies to cross state lines and offer coverage nationally. Why wont Obama allow them to do this?

Well golly gee, think of it from the health insurance industry, you have the president of the united states lying through his teeth gunning for your industry. His policy's will put you out of business, he is vilifying you as he trys to sell socialized medicine.
1.8 million a day..hell yes you have a industry to save and the truth to be known.

Those guys cutting brapes make 80 to 100 dollars a day, they are in excellent shape and dont need the ER...Its the mexicans that get sick and come across the border only for the purpose of walking into the ER thats the problem

You mean they'll never need the ER? How can you be sure? I suppose you won't either as long as you keep your weight down.

I thought you said the homeless were the problem. Now it's Mexicans.

No, Andrew. Started with Mexicans, but not our domestic illegals, just those that day trip through the desert to US ERs (I know...), then he added the homeless. So, per Ocean, if you eliminate Mexicans, the homeless and fat people we don't need no frick'n health care reform.

Besides, it's Clinton' fault ... whatever the problem is.

Ocean, do you guys get a lot of Mexicans jumping the border to visit ERs in Ukiah? Somehow I have a feeling that this is not as big a problem as you think, and probably only happens in border towns. At some point we have to stop blaming everyone else for our country's problems.

You guys can try to figure out my product and company, i really like the life i have now, its going to be a few years before its my wife's turn for the publicity when soemthing she is working on hits the market.

As far as the ER, its the people who are using the ER for free stuff, wether its free housing or free healthcare is a huge burden on this country. All i have done is identify some of these people.

Why don't you post some numbers? How much does our country spend giving houses and top-of-the-line health care to homeless and Mexicans? Until you post some stats, all your words come across as nothing more than racist, classist propaganda.

I don't get the guessing game. If your product is such a hot item, why so reluctant to say what it is. Otherwise, this hot item is more like hot air.

BTW, Mexicans aren't the only ones among the ranks of illegal immigrants.

True, but when someone refers to illegals hopping the border, that pretty much means Mexicans.

Because if you tell us your life will change? I don't get it. It's not at all possible to guess with the "clues" that you've given us.

It is very strange that you won't tell us. I can't imagine what you've possibly got to hide? Or what you've got to lose?
