so probly this friday im gonna get me a cart , my question is how wel do the ones with blackwheeles (non balloon) roll in the sand for short distances , when i say short distance i mean from highway 1 to the surf @ beanhollw?? how would they roll? are the 200$ balloon tired carts worth the bank?

asked and answered like a million times previously.  Get the balloon tires. 

If youre gonna traverse a short distance in sand, your better off just lifting/dragging.  The knobbies are a huge liability in loose substrate, and aren't worth scratch in the sand.

trust me...spend the cash and get the wheelez. I know it seems like a ton of cash. But the first time you gotta haul your yak over small rip rap you won't regret. Draggin a yak through the sand isn't a big deal but you'll cry when you gotta haul it 200 yards over mud and slop at low tide.

Andy my bro, I bought the black wheels and regretting it they are ok on flat or paved area but they suck on the sand...go with the wheelez like everybody say...
