HMB - 09.07.09

Met up with Brian and lauched in flat conditions (inside the Harbor)...we made bait in 2 seconds and headed out to the green can....IT WAS BIG out there   We fished it for an hour to no avail and headed in for more dine fishing. Met Surfing Marmot and Darius (Marmot, thanks for the sabiki huk-up) Catching was easy until the wind started to blow Had 4 dines hooked at some point and it tangled the hell out of my sabiki rig   Got a radio call from Kirk (who was fishing th pier) I paddled in and gifted him some of my dines....then Fuzz appears out of no where and wanted some as well....I went back out and caught a few more...Kirk and Fuzz, you guys owe me a backrub

I was worried more about the sea lions....a few of 'em gave chase as I was reeling in da dines....they looked like torpedos when they come at you like that  I'm surprised that there were no "Jerry's" around to protect them from us evil humans....I guess  HMB is not as "pretty" as Monterey

Mooch, The paddle back to the street were I parked next to the yacht club was tough in that breeze--I made about a knot.

Frankly I am surprised he didn't start feeding Sea Lions and have them following him around like puppies. He insists, but I think that Otter at Moss Landing tried to get in his yak because he fed it Sand Dabs. Just sayin' is all.
