I saw pics of a White eating a harber seal in the kelp in Cambria from two weeks ago on another forum.  Did you here anything about that when you were down there?

here's the shark, no biggy, biologists say the thing should be cruising around Bean Hollow right about now.  seriously, i wouldn't sweat it.  sorry for the threadjacking.
