I went up to some river whose name starts with a K. It sure was rough there, as the pic will attest. I also had these pesky fish bothering my poor little Cleo, as the pic will attest to as well. They made the drag on my reel sing. Is it supposed to do that?
I camped out for 2 nights and came home tired, yet satisfied. I wish I wasn't so tired cuz it's difficult to lift my cooler.

It's a shame about all that  harassment of your Cleo. I'd tell you to call the Sheriff but you seem to have remedied it all by yourself. I hope the events weren't so shocking that you'll need expensive therapy. And your poor drag--I wonder if it will ever be the same--you may need to call Humbolt CSI to get to the bottom of it all.

Ah...okay...I cannot stand it anymore...Wahoo! Nice fishing. Wow! Heavy cooler my a*s. That sight would give anyone the strength to lift it. Congratulations on a very, very successful trip.

Alright Juan!

Beautiful fish!  I need to make a road trip, where did you camp?

John, I camped at Camper Corral, right on 101, next to the river.

Just robbing a little fish oil on your reel and it'll take care of the drag problems  :smt044  Congrat on you double limit hauls.  Thank you for the report and pictures Juan.

Word's going around about that K place...  The bite's been on and the big run seems to be coming true.  I just hope we get some cooler temps and early rain or it could get ugly.

Great job, Juan.  That cooler's like a treasure chest in 2009 California.

Don - it's crossed my mind, believe me.   :smt001
