The word's still SLOW on the salmon front.  Quite a few people fished halibut today.  The ocean was awesome.  I hooked up with some NCKA types for an ab dive.  It was a good time and really nice to be on the water, but I missed my yak.   :smt001

I'm fishing tomorrow on a charter.  Hopefully the Day 6 report will have some silver...

Nice I really like reading your reports.  The only thing I don't like is when people sidetrack them with their opinions about the salmon population.  Some people should really start their own post if they feel what they have to say is so important.  Then I wouldn't have to read them. Thanks again Abking.  Keep up the reports.  Andy

Well, you have a while 5 days left to fish again. Nice Ab snag--looks worth the day off salmon searching.

Sorry to hear about the lack of decent fish (salmon), but thanks for the daily updates, keep them coming. It's good to know at least you've been enjoying the water a lot lately. Hopefully a salmon while get hooked before the season's over.

Abs are sparse in Humboldt.  We didn't get any 10's, but the spot we dove has quite a few 9's.  I'd say I saw or touched several dozen abs - probably 100 and none were sub-legal.  Measured a few 9.5's and pulled a good looking 9.   :smt001

WTG Abking!
Those conditions almost make me think I could get back into cold water free diving...almost.
