Hey guys,
Bloodbath here! Went to Del Monte to try my luck at spearing a hali w/tanks on thursday 8/27 w/ Lorenzo and Brian my crew.
We launched out right in front of the anchor next to MBK. Vis was about 10 ft and water conditions calm. Scanned the area for a while and right about when the 80 steel tank was about 200 Lorenzo comes up with a woop! woop! Holding a hali on his pole spear with the double flopper tip! 41 inches and 26 lbs. Caught in 30 ft water around some eel grass. Congratulations to Zo on his first! We will be back to get mine and B's. Enjoy the pics!

I have to admit, I doubt I'll ever roll that way to catch a Halibut, but it's impressive none the less. Rochambeau for the shot LOL. Nice! Great spearing and thanks for the report.
